- Most international students would choose a waiver of their Freshman English (3+3 credits) and Online English Program (0+0 credits, but required toward graduation). For a waiver: https://www.forex.ntu.edu.tw/freshman-english-waiver/?lang=en.
- In the case of being ineligible for a waiver, you can take any other foreign languages to meet that six-credit requirement. If you do take a foreign language, make sure to take the SAME language for ANY TWO semester before graduation.
- Take Japanese for instance, the combination should be Japanese (1) + Japanese (2), or Intermediate Japanese (1) + Intermediate Japanese (2). Other non-sequential combinations might cause confusion in credit recognition.
