Pacific Economic Review Call for Papers

Special Issue: Recent Advancement of Labor Economics

In conjunction with the annual meeting of the Asian & Australasian Society of Labor Economics (AASLE) in Taipei this year, the Pacific Economic Review (PER) is planning a special issue to publish papers contributed by this society. All papers accepted by AASLE 2023 Conference are welcome to submit to this special issue.

In addition to AASLE participants, we also welcome other scholars who are engaged in studies of labor economics to submit papers to this special issue. Submitted papers must be original academic work that has not been published and are not under review anywhere. Possible topics include, but are not limited to:

·       Gender Inequality

·       Education and Human Capital

·       Immigration

·       Job Search

·       Minimum Wage

·       Unemployment

·       Technology Improvement

·       Labor Policy

There are no constraints on the length of individual papers and no submission fee. Manuscripts should be submitted by email, with the subject title “Recent Advancement of Labor Economics”, to:

Submission should include two separate files: the pdf file of original paper and the pdf file of the title page that contains the title, authors’ names and affiliations, abstract, and corresponding addresses/emails. The submission deadline is October 31, 2024. The special issue is scheduled for October 2025.
