Special Lecture Series – Professor Donghoon Yoo of Korea University

Professor Donghoon Yoo of Korea University will offer a three-session special lecture series at National Taiwan University: Macroeconomic Theory: Diagnostic Expectations in the New Keynesian Framework.  

The course reviews the New Keynesian framework and develops diagnostic expectations as a model of belief formation. It examines their implications for equilibrium dynamics, policy transmission, forecasts, credit cycles, and investment.

The lectures are open to students in the College of Social Sciences, with priority given to economics students. You may attend individual sessions, although attending all three is recommended. The lectures will be conducted in English. Please respond via Google Form by Friday, November 13, 2026, at 5:00 p.m.
